Chillers
Chillers are a cooling system that removes heat by recirculating coolant to maintain an object’s specific temperature or process in various industrial applications. They are used in applications for industrial processes, food and beverage cooling, medical and healthcare applications, and even in data centers to main process temperatures or bulk heat removal.
Chillers depend upon a primary thermal engine for cooling and Ferrotec offers options that use compression or thermoelectrics (TECs) as the primary cooling mechanism. Regardless of which technology you choose, our chillers offer reliable and efficient process cooling. Ferrotec chillers are available in a variety of standard models with a wide range of cooling capacities and features.

Thermoelectric-based Chillers
Ferrotec’s FCP series thermoelectric-based chillers can provide temperature control from 5°C to 65°C, with a cooling power from 160W to 2000W by using air or water cooling on the dissipation side. The closed-system recirculating TEC chiller is a very reliable system under moderate heat loads, providing stable performance, precise temperature control, and small size. Our chillers can be remotely controlled via RS485/RS232, ETH and Ethernet, and combined with a multi-functional alarm system, security system, or a data transmission system. Ferrotec can provide custom lead products according to specific requirements.

Ferrotec offers chiller systems for low-temperature applications. These systems use a frequency conversion temperature control method to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption. These systems have a large cooling capacity 3.6KW at -20°C. These systems feature accurate temperature control technology and are used from -20°C to 80°C with temperature accuracy of 0.1°C.
View productsVery Low-Temperature Compressor-based Chillers
Ferrotec’s low temperature chiller is a fully enclosed multi-stage compression-cascade system. The system uses a sequential refrigeration to achieve desired low temperatures. The system will not increase pressure while running due to the high temperature and will replenish the thermal conductivity medium automatically at low temperature. The chiller device has a self-diagnostic function and multiple security features such as phase-sequence failure protector and refrigerant overload protection. They can be used to control a wide range of temperatures between -60°C to 180°C.

Ferrotec’s compact integrated chiller is ideal for precise control of multiple thermal loads. For added reliability and longer life, it uses thermoelectrics as primary cooling to provide 1500W cooling with 300W per channel. Two supplemental large coolant tanks provide uninterrupted liquid flow and scalability for additional cooling capacity. The system provides precise temperature control of a coolant (±.05°C) and transfers the waste heat to ambient or facility water.

Ferrotec’s ambient cooling systems are ideal for bulk heat removal for applications that do not require tight temperature control and cooling below ambient temperatures. The simple cooling unit contains a heat exchange, pump, reservoir and controller. The unit can be customized to specific customer needs to satisfy various thermal and mechanical requirements.
